Answering spamnmy\'s 2 questions: 1) Did it hit anything? A) Yes, it hit the incoming mortars - did you not see the large explosions?
2) Where do the rounds end up? A) The rounds self destruct - you can see them exploding in the distance. They still come down, but in little tiny pieces that are nowhere near as harmful as bullets (or mortars!) raining down from the sky. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counter-RAM
